Michael Phelps is the latest phenomenon, who took the swimming world by storm when he broke Marc Spitz’s 36-year-old record for most gold medals in a single Olympics. The 23-year-old Olympian from America gave no chance to his rivals in all the eight events that he chose to swim and each time he dived into the pool Phelps came up with a record.
